Introduction

Purpose

While memo apps exist, they are typically versatile and suited for making a variety of lists. However, there are fewer memo apps that are designed for specific purposes. This app aims to create a memo app with an interface and memo creation system that is suited for travel. Traveling can be difficult as it involves accomplishing several tasks while navigating unfamiliar places. The app provides an easy way to create tasks and view tasks of interest on any given day to lessen the stress involved with planning during trips.

Application

The purpose of the interface is to help users organize the tasks that they want to accomplish while they are traveling. The goal was accomplish this by providing information architecture that facilitates easy task creation and task viewing. This is accomplished through the use of forms that are easily understood and task memos that use information hierarchy to achieve maximum legibility. This app also aims to be versatile by providing users with as much control as possible over what information they want to provide. Guidelines for information entry is provided but the amount of content provided is decided by the user.

Users can create of tasks to accomplish each day.
Adding tasks involves filling out relevant information into the add task form.
Easy to read guidelines in the form are provided for the type of information that should be indicated for the task.
On days that do not have any tasks, users can go to the next date on which a task has been scheduled.

Switch to the calendar view to easily check the tasks on any day.
Days with tasks scheduled are highlighted in light yellow.
The number of tasks on any given day is indicated upon selection.
